Gym Buddy is a fitness app designed to make tracking your workouts and managing your gym activities easier and more enjoyable. Version 1 was a capstone project I did with a team of 4 other team mates while I was still in coding bootcamp. After taking another look at it as a product manager, I have iterated and built Version 2 with input from users to make the user experience better and more effective.
NomNom is a mobile-responsive breastfeeding tracker designed with empathy for postpartum moms. It goes beyond just tracking feeding sessions, it’s a support system for the lonely, late-night moments of new motherhood.
I built the V. 2.0 iteration of this full-stack product taking into account user input and continuous discovery.
Case Studies
Duolingo has transformed language learning with its gamified platform, capturing about 60% of the market. Its freemium model, featuring both free access with ads and premium subscriptions, boosts user engagement through gamification, AI personalization, and a streak system. Despite its success, Duolingo aims to improve conversational depth and answer flexibility to maintain its market leadership.
Shopify just launched their Offline Payments feature, and as a former business owner vending at events with questionable internet access, I would have loved this!
This case study came from a prompt in the Shopify APM Summer 2025 application. Although we were required to answer this question in 150 words, I was compelled to provide a more extensive answer as this product resonated with me.
